In 2015, Lena helped to create eCampusOntario, a non-profit consortium in Ontario, Canada, designed to drive the evolution of online and technology-enabled teaching and learning at 45 post-secondary institutions across the province. She worked closely with academic and government partners to establish the non-profit consortium model in Ontario and now heads up a growing project team in her role as Senior Director, Programs and Stakeholder Relations. Lena is known for mobilizing diverse stakeholders from government, business and education to carry out emergent, rapid development projects. Lena’s work has focused on bridging higher education and industry, online and technology-enabled teaching and learning, and open education.
Lena is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Western University in the EdD program in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on agile philosophy and leading through ambiguity in a non-profit environment. You can find her on twitter @lpatter10.
