Brenda Mora Perea, Director of Educational & Workforce Solutions at Credly, Inc. She brings 15 years of secondary, postsecondary, and workforce credentialing focused on identifying and target workforce skills not apparent in traditional credentials. At Credly, she leads the professional services team to assist clients in developing a system-wide digital credential system. Each consulting engagement entails building collaboration between a consortium of global business units, educational and training providers and workforce to identify and target workforce skills not apparent in courses, certificates, and degrees. She believes identifying verified competencies is critical for businesses and industry to ensure post-secondary education and career training is relevant for today’s workforce.
Brenda is an Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) Credential specialist and is a member of several credentialing taskforces: ICE’s International Credentialing taskforce, IMSGlobal Foundations Digital Credentials working group, and W3C’s VD-Edu taskforce. She has extensive post terminal degree courses in Learning Science and Educational Technology from George Mason University, a Master’s of Science degree from Shenandoah University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of New Mexico.
